Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains under which conditions MagikVid (the "Service") issues refunds for subscriptions, credit purchases, and AI video generations. By subscribing or purchasing credits, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
Because the Service delivers digital content generated on demand by a third-party AI provider, purchases are generally considered "consumed" as soon as credits are used. Refund eligibility is therefore limited to the specific cases described below.
2. Failed Generations — Automatic Credit Refund
If a video generation fails on our side or on the AI provider's side (e.g. processing error, timeout, infrastructure failure), the credits spent for that generation are automatically refunded to your account balance. No action is required from you and no manual request is needed.
Refunds in credits are not refunds in cash. Once credits have been restored to your balance, they can be reused immediately to launch a new generation, but they cannot be converted back to euros, dollars or cryptocurrency.
3. Subscriptions (Card — Paddle, PayPal)
Card subscriptions are processed by one of our payment providers (Paddle or PayPal). Paddle Inc. acts as the Merchant of Record and is responsible for collecting applicable VAT or sales tax on the transaction; the underlying refund eligibility rules described below remain the same regardless of the provider used.
Card subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected billing cycle (monthly or annual). You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page. After cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- You keep access to your remaining credits until the end of that period.
- No further charges will be made.
- Already-paid periods are non-refundable, except as required by mandatory consumer law (see section 6).
Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period and are not refundable in cash.
4. Cryptocurrency Payments
Payments made in cryptocurrency through NOWPayments are final and non-refundable. Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions and the volatility of crypto exchange rates, we cannot reverse a confirmed crypto payment.
If your crypto payment was not credited to your account due to a technical issue (e.g. webhook failure, wrong network), please contact us within 14 days at [email protected] with your transaction hash so we can manually credit the corresponding credits.
5. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If you have been charged twice for the same purchase, or charged in error, contact us within 30 days at [email protected] with your transaction reference. After verification, we will refund the duplicated or erroneous amount through the original payment method.
6. EU Consumers — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you normally benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU.
However, in accordance with article 16(m) of that directive, this right does not apply to the supply of digital content where performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. By generating at least one video or using any of your credits, you expressly request and accept the immediate performance of the Service, and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day withdrawal right for the credits consumed.
If you have not used any credits during the 14 days following your purchase, you may request a full refund by contacting [email protected]. This applies to card payments only; crypto payments remain non-refundable as described in section 4.
7. Referral Commissions and USDT Withdrawals
Referral commissions are credited to your referral balance once the underlying payment from the referred user is confirmed. If that underlying payment is later refunded, charged back, or disputed, the associated commission is cancelled, and any corresponding amount already paid out may be deducted from your future commissions.
USDT withdrawals are final once broadcast to the blockchain. Please double-check your destination address and network (TRC20 / ERC20 / BEP20) before submitting a withdrawal request — we cannot recover funds sent to an incorrect address.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
We encourage you to contact our support team before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, as most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably. Initiating a chargeback for a legitimate purchase may result in the suspension of your account and the forfeiture of remaining credits, pending the outcome of the dispute.
9. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to [email protected] including:
- The email address of your MagikVid account.
- The date and amount of the charge.
- The payment method used (card, crypto) and the transaction reference (Paddle receipt, transaction hash, etc.).
- A brief description of the reason for your refund request.
We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and provide a decision within 14 days. Approved refunds are issued through the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page along with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
